Strategic Planning
Strategic planning is a comprehensive process that can transform and revitalize an organization.
It provides people with the opportunity to discuss and plan for the organization's desired future.
The board, staff and sometimes volunteers and stakeholders involved take ownership and outline why an organization exists and what the members want to accomplish within the organization, within a given period of time.
The strategic plan template (Doc 28Kb) can help articulate the organization’s vision and mission, as well as key goals and objectives.
The strategic plan can then be used to guide decision-making, ensure effective use of resources, measure progress, and communicate goals and objectives to others.
