Our Vision
To ensure all Indigenous employees feel safe, respected, valued and represented across Manitoba Justice.
Our Mission
Working with all divisions within Manitoba Justice, in conjunction with First Nation, Métis and Inuit leadership and community partners, to bring an Indigenous lens to all aspects of programs and service delivery at Manitoba Justice and ensure Indigenous representation throughout the department.

Our Focus
- Provide wellness services to Manitoba Justice staff, families and community through our Indigenous Spiritual Caregivers.
- Increase Indigenous representation in Manitoba Justice through recruitment, retention, professional development, and mentorship efforts.
- Create culturally safe spaces by providing Indigenous education and awareness training for Manitoba Justice staff.
